Sustainable Transport - Bus and truck fleet modernisation programme

In the context of the economic stimulus of June 2020, the German government decided to implement several measures to develop a more sustainable transport sector. 

 

Among them, the federal government decided to invest in a " bus and truck fleet modernisation programme". 

 

The objective of the EUR 1.2 billion programme is to increase the demand for e-buses and to make the urban transport more environmentally friendly, coordinated with the installation of charging infrastructures, for a limited period until the end of 2021.
