IEA at COP26: Carbon pricing and Article 6 to foster green recovery and net-zero
Background information
This KECO-IEA-ADB joint side event will discuss what role domestic carbon pricing instruments and international carbon market could have in the decarbonisation strategies of different countries, and the role of co-operative approaches through Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. It will feature welcoming remarks from KECO’s Executive Director and IEA’s Head of Energy and Environment Division, as well as presentations from IEA, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia and Switzerland. The event will also discuss the latest developments on Article 6 pilots.
