Gas Market Report - Q2 2024

The new edition of the IEA’s quarterly Gas Market Report will provide a thorough analysis of market developments during the 2023/24 heating season, as well as an outlook for the rest of 2024.

The report will examine the continued easing of gas market fundamentals amidst unseasonably mild winter weather conditions in the Northern hemisphere, while exploring ongoing risks that could renew market tensions. As part of the IEA’s Low-Emissions Gases Work Programme, the report will also provide an overview of recent policies and regulations enacted to stimulate demand for biomethane, low-emissions hydrogen and e-methane.
