Carbon Pricing and the Power Sector – Opportunities to Accelerate Decarbonisation

This session brings together policymakers and private sector representatives to discuss how power sector regulations and carbon pricing mechanisms interact and therefore must be aligned to ensure a cost effective decarbonisation of the power sector that is consistent with the Paris Agreement and at the same time safeguards the reliability and affordability of electricity systems in transition.
