NZE = Net Zero Emissions by 2050 Scenario. “Digital” includes hardware and software-based assets such as smart meters, smart grid infrastructure, EV smart chargers, dynamic line rating, artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies, which combine connectivity, interoperability and cyber-security, leveraging the internet of things to enhance electricity system management while making utilities’ decision-making more informed and efficient. “Non-digital” includes traditional non-digitalised lines, equipment and infrastructure.
