Summer 2022 Electricity subsidy increase

In an effort to shield domestic consumers from the effects of the global energy crisis, the government of Oman  implemented a temporary 15% increase in electricity subsidies from May to August 2022. The gradual phase out of the scheme had been postponed during the previous summer.
